Roots and Relics workshop with David Blandy

Join BorderLands artist David Blandy for a free workshop and help create a new tabletop and digital game.

Roots and Relics is the 3rd year of Meadow Arts’ BorderLands programme, which explores borders, identity and heritage. In this programme artist David Blandy uses world building games and storytelling to create a new virtual and tabletop game. Working with participants he will show how role-play techniques, and digital tools can expand ideas around society and history. The workshops will help generate ideas for an exhibition in Summer 2027.

Anyone is welcome to join, and no previous game design experience is needed to take part.

BorderLands in 2026 – 2027 is funded by the de Laszlo Foundation and Arts Council England.
