Art and Climate Roundtable

Featuring voices from leading artists and hosted by Andy Fryers (Sustainability Director at Hay Festival), the panellists, including Andrew Howe, Naiza Khan, Sally Payen and Mark Richards, will discuss how their practice responds to the environment and how art can impact the climate change emergency. 

The Art and Climate Roundtable is part of the programme of events surrounding Watermark, a contemporary art exhibition exploring water, flooding and the climate crisis in partnership with venues across Worcester (January – June 2023).

Following the roundtable event, there will be a live, open-air performance by Dancefest at University of Worcester City Campus terraces, weaving in and around the artworks Flood & Potemkin by Daniel Pryde-Jarman.

The Art and Climate Roundtable is presented in partnership with the University of Worcester’s Fine Art department. The talks involve some of the most exciting contemporary artists currently making work in the UK, who talk about their artwork, ideas and the processes they use.
