No Borders

The quotation “NO BORDERS JUST HORIZONS ONLY FREEDOM“ is borrowed from Amelia Earhart, the American pioneer aviator, feminist icon, and explorer. Her quote resonates in the politics of today and can be read through a contemporary political lens referencing Brexit and the Irish border; the ongoing debate of Scottish independence and the many current border conflicts over contested land across the globe, including recent expansionist conflicts.

Hilary has made a new version of the large outdoor work specifically for BorderLands at Hay Castle.
