Borders & Boundaries: Artist Talk Series II (22 January – 11 June)
Following the success of the 2025 Artist Talk, Meadow Arts and Hereford College of Arts presents Borders & Boundaries. In this second season, the new programme invites five artists whose practices explore borders, boundaries and marginal spaces, to offer their critical perspectives on identity, place and belonging. Book online.

Youthy’s Fantastic Food exhibition at National Trust Croome (February)
Artist Sarah Taylor Silverwood collaborated with young people from Pershore Riverside Centre to co-create the Youthy’s Fantastic Food cookbook and dinner plates. The project will be exhibited at National Trust Croome in the New Year, celebrating creativity, collaboration, and the connections between food and art.

BorderLands exhibition at Hay Castle (14 May – 31 August 2026)
BorderLands at Hay Castle brings together a diverse range of artistic voices to explore the emotional, political, and cultural dimensions of borders and boundaries. Featuring regional, national and international artists, the exhibition reflects on both physical and abstract divisions, inviting reflection on how these separations shape communities, identities, and our wider world. BorderLands encourages dialogue about connection, unity, and our collective responsibility to respond to urgent global concerns, including the health of our planet.

Our Place Golden Valley Year 3: The Sun Dial Project
Artists Chris Poolman and Grace Emily Manning are working with community groups across the Golden Valley to co-produce a Sun Dial inspired by the expressive corbels of Kilpeck Church, one of Herefordshire’s most distinctive medieval landmarks. Drawing on local stories, ancient monuments, and rural traditions, the modular artwork uses Herefordshire-sourced materials such as wool, cob, and plant pigments, and will tour to different venues across the area.

Artist Walks
Throughout the year, join us for a series of artist-led walks across the Golden Valley and Hay-on-Wye, connecting people, artists, and landscapes in moments of shared exploration and inspiration.
