Wild Imagination at Croome Court
The young people from Pershore High School and Pershore Riverside Centre Youth Group had a great day at Croome Court on 25 July, to see their drawings and field recordings come to life in the new animation and accompanying soundtrack Wild Imagination.
Commissioned by Meadow Arts and National Trust, the animation was made in collaboration with artist Sarah Taylor Silverwood, students from Pershore High School and young people from Pershore Riverside Centre. They explored the house and the grounds at Croome, collecting ideas, sketches and recordings, inspired by the landscape and Croome’s Pages from Nature theme.
The bronze sculptures Small Creatures, were created by Juneau Projects in collaboration with Pershore Riverside Centre Youth Group in 2022. They were commissioned by Meadow Arts in response to the landscape and biodiversity of Avon Meadows, Pershore.
Wild Imagination and Small Creatures are on display at Croome until 2 March 2025.
This project is generously supported using public funding by Arts Council England and The Elmley Foundation.
