Walk and Draw with Celia Johnson

The Herefordshire Visual Artists Network (HVAN) will join artist Celia Johnson to explore, and respond to, the beautiful and diverse landscape at The Weir Garden in Herefordshire. Considering walking as a practice of site-specific research and performance: close looking, careful attention and mindful movement will inform a series of diverse creative responses to the environment that will include drawing, writing and collage. 

This is a HVAN event, but new members are welcome to attend.

Thanks to funding support from Herefordshire Council via the UKSPF programme, the Herefordshire Visual Artists Network is a network of visual artists working across the county who come together to share news about their practice, ideas for forthcoming projects, network, and update their skills via bespoke CPD training. The network is led by Gemma Moore, a young artist from rural Herefordshire.
