Creative Health in Herefordshire Arts Practitioner Network Sharing Series

Verity Howard and Ginn Downes share their experiences of working with Herefordshire Headway

Join us for this informal sharing and networking event for artists and creative practitioners living and working in Herefordshire, with an interest in creative health and wellbeing practice.

About the speakers:

Verity Howard is an artist who creates ceramic sculptures, taking inspiration from the landscape, history and culture in rural Herefordshire.

Ginn Downes has taught fashion, textiles and art for over 40years and currently runs her own workshops. In her own practice, she enjoys working with mixed media techniques.

Herefordshire Headway is a charity providing services for adults (18+) who have a head injury or an acquired brain injury. Verity and Ginn run weekly pottery and art classes for people who attend Headway.

This event is part of Our Place Golden Valley, which is a Meadow Arts project. It is part of the Our Place Herefordshire programme funded by the National Lottery through Arts Council England, with match funding from Herefordshire Council and Hereford City Council.
