The Feral Sphere
This artwork featured in Shakti (2013).
Jagannath Panda’s The Feral Sphere glows, a highly pleasing, it draws in the viewer with the with the opulence of the exquisite embroideries, weaving their way across the golden surface, as if creating the borders of an alternative world. It alludes to the lure of a new life paved with gold on the other side of the globe, but points to the dangers of migration.
