Letters from the Front

This artwork featured in Time Will Tell (2013). A Meadow Arts commission (2012). 

Inspired by her own family history and that of James Herbert Croft, who during World War II, gave his life whilst serving for King and Country, artist Holly Davey, read a series of fictional letters aloud in the Saloon. The letters reflect not only on war, but also on a universal longing to be somewhere else.
