Skin Deep Activity Packs
To accompany the Skin Deep exhibition at National Trust stately home Berrington Hall, artist Mark Riley has created a series of activities that you can try at home.
Inspired by the themes of Oliver Jones work for Skin Deep, which looks at self-image and how people modify their bodies through make-up, tattoos, skin treatments and surgery, Mark has looked at self-image from the Georgian period when Berrington Hall was built to the present day.

The Skin Deep Family Activity Pack has five fun projects for you to try at home with easy to find materials:
- Mask Making
- Celebrity face mash-ups
- Playdough fun
- Beauty Patches
- Slime

The Skin Deep Kids Activity Pack has four additional activities that will help Key Stage 2 Learners explore ideas and the world around them:
- Mask Making
- Gloopy Paint
- 3-D Construction
- Fake Ads
